Retailers are using machine learning to predict which items you’ll return

ZDNet's Tiernan Ray explains that Indian e-commerce startup Myntra, part of Indian retailer Flipkart, has come up with a machine learning approach that can predict when you have items in your online shopping cart that you’re likely to return, and it is experimenting with deterrents such as offering you discounts if you’ll agree not to return those items.
